"The North Star" is the Financially Lit Kidz Monthly Newsletter .  The name is intended to pay homage to an American Newspaper "The North Star" also known as 

“Frederick Douglass’s Paper”   

The name  recognized slaves escaping used the North Star to guide them to freedom. The motto of the newspaper was, “Right is of no sex—Truth is of no color—God is the Father of us all, and we are brethren.
